DP RIGATHI GACHAGUA NOW SAYS THERE ARE NO PLANS TO SCRAP CBC.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has cleared the air on the current government’s stand on the Competence Based Curriculum (CBC), rubbishing claims that it will be done away with.
Speaking in Kisumu on Friday, the DP revealed that the task force currently being formed will be seeking views on how to enhance CBC to favour all sector players to ensure the holistic development of learners.

“When that team is unveiled and will be going around the country, please don't just complain at home or in market centres…please turn up and present these people with your views on what you think should be done to improve CBC and the entire education system," Gachagua said.

Accompanied by a host of leaders, the DP further reiterated the government’s commitment to enhance the performing arts sector, which he said can be harnessed to generate employment for the youth and magnify positive aspects of the Kenyan culture.
"Very soon we will roll out a program on how to harness talent and the creativity of our people and slowly, gradually turn it into a source of income and our contribution to our GDP," he stated.

The DP in his address during the 94th edition of the Kenya National Music Festival also, albeit on a light note, seemingly embraced his popular ‘Riggy G’ nickname.

“Our young people are very creative, even I am amazed that our creative young people have given me a nickname,” he said.

“They have looked at my two names, Rigathi Gachagua, looked for something sounding easier, more melodious and called me 'Riggy G'. I don’t think it is a bad name.”

Meet The Only School In East Africa Were Male Students Wear Skirts And Why?

The school stands out because male students are required to wear skirts, which is unusual because typically, male students wear shorts and trousers. This is only done at this particular school in East Africa. The skirt-like clothing is actually a kilt, a traditional Scottish men's outfit, according to the school principal. He disclosed that Ernest William Calwell, a Scottish missionary who resided in the region during the colonial era, created the school in 1926. Most of the students when asked their view on the same especially male ones ,they say they have no problem wearing the kilts and actually they have been used to the custom and have been trained and taught deeply about the school's history that brought the whole story of wearing uniforms that look like skirts just like their female counterparts. What is your opinion on this. Channel your view on ...

DEAR MEN, THESE ARE THE PLACES NEVER TO TOUCH IN A WOMAN

You, as a man, have an obligation to familiarize yourself with the possibility that a woman may not always respond favorably to your touch. You must establish limits for yourself and gain the knowledge necessary to choose how, when, and with whom you will connect in public or elsewhere. Other places may just give you a smack as punishment because they are so painful to grip. You should control your hand while you are in public and be conscious of the nature of your relationship with the woman. These factors will help you decide what approach to use with a woman. Guys touching women's faces offends them. Just think about spending hours in front of your mirrors putting makeup, just to have someone else touch it as soon as they appear. The face is the most delicate part of a woman's body to touch. As a male, you had better understand how to protect your face in public as soon as possible. Never, ever put your hands on a woman's face. Never touch the stomach of a woman. Ever. A...
